On December 5, 2025, a meeting was held between Bakhriddin Sirojiddinzoda, Director of the Agency for Export Activities under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, and Alirezo Hakikion, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Tajikistan. This was reported by the press service of the Agency for Export Activities under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
At the meeting, the Director of the Export Agency noted that relations between Tajikistan and Iran, which are directly based on the wise and far-sighted policies of the Founder of Peace and Reconciliation – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, are at a high level.


During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation, focusing on increasing export potential, strengthening trade and economic ties, creating logistics centers, establishing joint ventures in agricultural processing, cotton fiber exports, and the possibility of opening a representative office of the Tajikistan Export Agency in Tehran.
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran provided detailed information on measures to strengthen trade turnover between the parties and noted that in recent years, both countries have made efforts to create favorable conditions for the development of bilateral trade and economic relations.
Overall, the meeting was held in a spirit of mutual understanding, with the parties emphasizing the importance of further strengthening cooperation and jointly promoting initiatives in the area of trade and economic interaction.
