Tajikistan's Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Abdurahmon Abdurahmonzoda, met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Alireza Hakikion, to discuss expanding bilateral cooperation in priority areas, the ministry's press service reported.
The parties discussed issues related to attracting investment, developing energy and industry, improving transport and logistics infrastructure, and simplifying mutual travel procedures. Particular attention was paid to increasing the number of direct flights, expanding cooperation in agriculture, and strengthening food security.
The press center noted that both sides expressed their readiness to further develop and strengthen economic ties, implement joint projects, and increase trade potential between the two countries.
