Eighteen-year-old International Master Ilkhomi Jaloliddin won two bronze medals at the Asian Cadet and Junior Championships, which concluded in Bangkok, according to the press service of the Tajikistan Chess Federation.
The competition took place in the capital of Thailand and brought together the continent's strongest young chess players. The Tajikistan youth team performed admirably at the tournament, with Jaloliddin's achievement being the team's key achievement, winning prizes in both rapid and blitz.
The Tajikistan Chess Federation notes that the young international master's success is the result of systematic training, the consistent work of his coaches, and the support of his family. Jaloliddin's performance, the federation emphasized, drew the attention of experts to the growing level of the Tajik chess school.
