The Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, A. S. Abdurakhamonzoda, held an online meeting with the Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, M. G. Reshetnikov, the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan reported .
During the talks, the parties reviewed the progress of the instructions given by the two heads of state during the Russian President's state visit to Tajikistan. The focus was on expanding Tajikistan's supply of grapes and other agricultural products to Russia.
The parties noted that the implementation of the instructions of the leaders of the two countries contributes to progress in the area of exports and the strengthening of trade and economic ties between the states.
The following issues were discussed during the meeting:
improving the system of cooperation in the field of export and import;
optimization of the procedure for interdepartmental coordination;
expansion of trade and economic opportunities.
The ministers emphasized the importance of continuing constructive dialogue and implementing joint measures to further develop economic cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Russian Federation.
