Online voting has begun in Tajikistan for the first national telecommunications award, "Telecom Awards Tajikistan 2025," established by the Communications Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan. The goal of the award is to identify leaders in the telecommunications industry and stimulate the development of the country's digital infrastructure, according to the press service of the Communications Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
"Today, telecommunications is a strategic industry that influences the development of a digital society. We strive for this award to serve as an incentive for operators and providers to improve their services and enhance the quality of communications services for citizens," noted Isfandiyori Sadullo, Head of the Communications Service under the Government of Tajikistan.
Every resident of the country can vote and choose the best mobile operator and internet provider. To do so, go to telecom.awards.tj, enter your phone number, and rate their connection quality, network coverage, plans, service, and internet speed. One phone number can be used to vote in both categories. Ratings are based on a one-to-five-star rating system for each criterion.
In addition to the public vote, the award includes 14 nominations, including "Innovative Solutions of the Year in the Telecom Industry," "Best Customer Service of the Year," "Best Digital Service of the Year," "Best Corporate Solution of the Year," "Best Investment Project of the Year," "Best Contribution to the Telecom Industry," "Socially Responsible Company of the Year," "Best Price-Quality Value," "Fastest Growing Operator," "Fastest Mobile Network," "Fastest Fixed-Line Network," and "Breakthrough of the Year." These nominations provide a comprehensive overview of the industry leaders by the end of 2025.
The award results will be based on a comprehensive assessment, including telephone customer surveys to determine satisfaction and loyalty, a mystery shopper service quality check, network speed and coverage analysis, technical and technological measurements in accordance with international standards, and the results of a public vote.
The awards ceremony will be held in December 2025, featuring industry representatives, operators, and the media. The awards establish new standards, openly evaluate companies' achievements, and set the direction for the future development of Tajikistan's telecommunications industry.
