On November 20, 2025, within the framework of the World Telecommunication Development Conference in Baku (Azerbaijan), a meeting was held between the Head of the Communications Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Isfandiyor Sadullo, and the Minister of Information Technology and Communications of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Saeed Sattar Hashemi, the press service of the Communications Service of Tajikistan reported .
Isfandiyor Sadullo noted that the meetings and negotiations between the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, and the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pizeshkian, during the state visit that took place on January 15–17, 2025, gave a serious impetus to the comprehensive development of friendly relations and mutually beneficial cooperation between the countries.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of international roaming, importing internet traffic from Iran, exchanging experience in cybersecurity, and training relevant personnel.
The meeting took place in an atmosphere of mutual understanding, and the parties expressed their readiness to fully utilize the existing opportunities.
