The autumn conscription plan for mandatory military service in Tajikistan has been more than 98% fulfilled, according to the country's Ministry of Defense. The conscription campaign began on October 1 and will last until the end of November.
According to the agency, the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region, Khatlon Region, and the city of Dushanbe fully met their plan within 50 days of the campaign. These regions achieved their targets ahead of schedule thanks to the active work of conscription commissions and local authorities.
In Sughd Region, the plan was fulfilled at over 96%. The cities and districts of Ayni, Kukhistoni Mastchokh, Shakhriston, Penjikent, Istiklol, Buston, Guliston, Spitamen, Jabbor Rasulov, Isfara, Khujand, and Bobojon Gafurov fully met the target.
In cities and districts of republican subordination, the overall plan fulfillment exceeded 97%. Among them, Sangvor, Nurobod, Rasht, Tajikabad, Lakhsh, Rogun, Faizabad, Tursunzade, Gissar, and Varzob achieved 100% of their targets.
The Ministry of Defense notes that the campaign is proceeding in an organized and planned manner, and the work of conscription agencies continues until the autumn conscription is fully completed.
