From November 4 to 8, 2025, the 12th China-Central Asia Cooperation Forum was held in the People's Republic of China, with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Dilrabo Mansuri, NIAT Khovar reports, citing the press service of the country's government.
In her speech at the forum, Dilrabo Mansouri emphasized that fruitful cooperation between Central Asia and China, particularly in trade, economic, and investment spheres, has reached a high level. She noted that the Republic of Tajikistan fully supports Chinese President Xi Jinping's Belt and Road Initiative and is jointly implementing a number of strategically important regional infrastructure projects with China in areas such as education, transportation, energy, and industry.

As part of the forum, the Deputy Prime Minister of Tajikistan held a bilateral meeting with Ms. Sheng Yueyue, Vice Chairperson of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and Chairperson of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Committee on Good-Neighborliness, Friendship, and Cooperation.
During the meeting, Sheng Yueyue noted the global initiatives of Tajikistan President Emomali Rahmon in water resource management and climate change, as well as in preventing the threats of extremism and terrorism in the region. She expressed China's readiness to jointly implement programs to develop a green economy, strengthen food security, promote technological integration, improve the education system, develop tourism, and exchange experiences in working with youth.
This event became an important platform for strengthening bilateral and regional cooperation, discussing strategic initiatives, and expanding partnership between Tajikistan and China in the economic, educational, and technological spheres.
