In the capital of Qatar, Doha, a meeting was held between the Director of the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Khabibullo Nazarzoda, and the Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority of the State of Qatar, Muhammad Faleh Al-Hajri, the Civil Aviation Agency of Tajikistan reported .
During the talks, the parties discussed the establishment of regular flights on the Dushanbe-Doha route, cargo transportation, and the development of business aviation.
Khabibullo Nazarzoda emphasized that, with the support of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, the country has been implementing the Open Skies state policy since June 12, 2025. As part of this policy, Tajikistan's international airports are offering discounts of up to 40 percent on all services to open new air routes and attract tourists and foreign investment.
For his part, the Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority of the State of Qatar, Mohammed Faleh Al-Hajri, expressed the Qatari side's readiness to organize direct flights between Tajikistan and Qatar with the participation of its airlines.
