Said Ismagilov , former Mufti of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Ukraine "Ummah", is currently a serviceman in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and a combat paramedic:
We will repair the mosque, but you will never be human again.
Last night, a Russian-terrorist group launched a massive attack on Kyiv, damaging the mosque of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Ukraine "Ummah."
In the year of the Prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him) birth, Abraha, the ruler of Yemen, assembled an army to destroy the Kaaba in Mecca—the first mosque on earth, a holy place dedicated to the worship of the One God. The leader of Mecca was the Prophet's grandfather, Abdul Muttalib. When he was informed of Abraha's army and its intentions, he replied: "This House has its owner—Almighty Allah—and He will protect it. All mosques are considered houses of God, and anyone who encroaches upon them ends very badly." Almighty Allah sent flocks of birds that dropped small stones from the sky onto Abraha's army. These stones were infected with an unknown disease (researchers speculate an aggressive form of smallpox), and the entire army, including Abraha, turned into rotting meat. The Quran's Surah Al-Fil (The Elephant) commemorates this event:
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate!
- Have you seen what your Lord did to the owners of the elephant?*
[* This is about the campaign of the Yemeni king Abragi against Mecca. There was an elephant in the Yemeni army.]
- Did He not make their tricks fail?
- And he sent flocks of birds against them!
- They threw stones made of baked clay at them.
- And He made them like a field of broken soil; (Quran 105:1-5)
The same fate awaits the Russian occupiers, because every mosque destroyed in Ukraine has an owner; they chose the wrong enemy. To be at odds with God is the most foolish thing. Russia will certainly be destroyed; I see direct parallels.
