In the first half of 2025, Tajikistan's economy attracted $213 million in foreign investment, $73 million of which came from grants and concessional loans provided with the assistance of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade. This was reported by the ministry's press service.
The statement notes that these funds are the result of the department's systematic work with international financial institutions. The ministry emphasized sectors capable of ensuring sustainable growth and job creation.
Investments were directed towards the implementation of priority projects envisaged by the Plan to Reduce Foreign Economic Risks, as well as to support industry, agriculture, and infrastructure programs.
