A unified state internet portal, "ehukumat.tj," has launched in Tajikistan, becoming the central platform for digital interaction between citizens, businesses, and government agencies. This was announced at a press conference by the Agency for Innovation and Digital Technologies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The ehukumat.tj portal is defined as a unified information and communications network infrastructure that provides:
Open access to official information
Online submission of applications and requests
Receiving government services electronically
Direct communication between citizens and government authorities.
At launch, the portal was connected to the websites of 45 government agencies, including ministries, agencies, committees, and city halls. According to the Agency, since its beta launch in March 2025, the portal has been visited by over 1.5 million users, and the number of unique requests for online government services has exceeded 280,000.
During the first stage, 20 types of government services were implemented through the portal, including:
Birth registration
Obtaining a certificate of family composition
Vehicle registration
Issuance of a pension certificate
Applications for targeted assistance.
By the end of 2025, this figure is planned to increase to 50 online services, covering key areas: healthcare, education, migration, taxation, housing and communal services, and social protection.
The portal is fully integrated with the Smart Bridge system, providing automatic data verification and real-time confirmations. Support for electronic digital signatures (EDS) is also implemented, simplifying the legalization of online applications.
The portal's development and maintenance are led by a team of 85 specialists, including system architects, analysts, DevOps engineers, and testers. Development and support are carried out at the national level with the participation of graduates of the Tajik University of Innovation and Digital Technologies.
The portal is protected by modern data encryption tools and certified by the National Data Protection Service. The platform is mobile-friendly and supports Tajik, Russian, and English.
