The agricultural sector grew by almost 10%, driven by livestock and crop production.

The volume of agricultural production in Tajikistan in the first half of 2025 amounted to 23.85 billion somoni, an increase of 9.7%, according to the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan.

In particular, it is noted that agriculture remains a key sector for the country's food security. The growth in production of grains, vegetables, fruits, and livestock products demonstrates the results of systematic support for farmers.

The growth of crop production was 9%, and livestock production – 11.2%.
