In the first six months of 2025, courts in the Republic of Tajikistan collected over 108,883,000 somoni for the state. This was announced by Supreme Court Chairman Rustam Mirzozoda at a press conference held in Dushanbe on Wednesday.
According to him, this figure is almost 37 million somoni higher than the amount collected by the courts for the same period in 2024.
“In the first half of 2025, the country’s courts heard 73,792 cases, which is 20,511 cases less than the same period last year,” Mirzozoda noted.
The structure of the cases considered includes: civil cases – 7,461; family cases – 20,683; criminal cases – 6,499; cases of administrative offences – 27,065; petitions of preliminary investigation bodies – 4,061; submissions of state and supervisory bodies – 3,965.
The Chairman of the Supreme Court noted that the decrease in the overall number of cases considered is due to a number of preventative and legal measures taken in the republic, as well as an increase in the legal awareness of citizens.
According to him, the courts continue to ensure the protection of the legitimate rights and interests of citizens, organizations, and the state, acting in strict accordance with legal requirements.
