As of July 1, 2025, the total number of pensioners in Tajikistan is 858,191. This was announced today at a press conference at the Republic's Agency for Social Insurance and Pensions.
Of the total number of pensioners, 170,000 are pensioners with disabilities. Of these, 18,220 belong to the first disability group, 83,691 to the second group, 33,317 to the third group, and 34,824 were disabled from childhood to age 18.
In addition, as of July 1, there were 1,149 full orphans and 77,649 half-orphans in Tajikistan in need of social support.
The number of disabled people and participants of the Great Patriotic War is 15 people, and the number of participants of the war in the rear is 117 people.
The Social Insurance and Pension Agency continues to provide social protection to vulnerable categories of citizens, including pensioners with disabilities, orphans, and veterans.
