More than 2,500 children in Tajikistan's Shahrinav district are enrolled in preschool education, according to the district's executive authority.
According to the department, 809 children are being educated in seven preschools in the district. Additionally, 48 educational institutions operate 73 child development centers, serving 1,780 children aged five to six.
As part of the implementation of the preschool construction program in the district, 21.8% of the planned work has been completed.
"Construction of another kindergarten is currently ongoing. It is planned to open during the celebrations of the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan," the district administration clarified.
The Shakhrinav District administration notes that developing the preschool education system is a priority in the region's social policy, and the construction of new kindergartens will increase the coverage of children with high-quality preschool education.
