On August 11, a visiting meeting of the National Council on Early Childhood Development was held in the Faizabad district with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Dilrabo Mansuri. This was reported by NIAT Khovar, citing the Faizabad district executive authority.
Deputy Prime Minister of Tajikistan, and Chairperson of the National Council on Early Childhood Development, Dilrabo Mansuri, emphasized the key importance of early childhood development for expanding human capital in the Republic of Tajikistan and ensuring long-term sustainable development.
The meeting summarized the results of the "Early Childhood Development to Expand Human Capital in Tajikistan" project in the first half of 2025, discussed the need for urgently improving interagency cooperation in supporting the development of children under six, and reviewed the achievements and challenges of program implementation, as well as the timely elimination of existing obstacles. Solutions for improving collaboration between ministries, agencies, and city and district executive bodies were proposed.
The meeting participants presented recommendations for strengthening intersectoral cooperation and improving the effectiveness of preschool education programs for young children.
It was noted that during the meeting the important role of early childhood development in Tajikistan’s socio-economic progress was once again emphasized.
