During a monitoring meeting with law enforcement agencies in the capital on August 19, Dushanbe Mayor Rustami Emomali expressed concern about the increasing number of individuals engaged in illegal religious education. This was reported by the Information Department of the Dushanbe Mayor's Office.
According to the mayor's office, more than 80% of students are young people under 30, which is a cause for serious concern.
Rustami Emomali emphasized the need for decisive measures to prevent youth involvement in extremist movements, the promotion of foreign cultures, and other adverse phenomena affecting the health and morality of citizens.
He noted that the effectiveness of the fight against crime largely depends on the dedicated work of law enforcement agencies, as well as ongoing educational work among all segments of society and the strengthening of personnel discipline.
