A special event to support orphans and children in need was held in the Rudaki district as part of the celebrations of Knowledge Day and Tajikistan's Independence Day. This was reported by the district's executive authority press service.
The event was attended by Tajikistan's Minister of Education and Science, Rahim Saidzoda; Chairman of the Government's Committee on Architecture and Construction, Nizom Mirzozoda; Chairman of the State Committee on Land Management and Geodesy, Orif Khodjazoda; and Chairman of the Rudaki District, Abdugaffor Hikmatullozoda.
During the ceremony, an official delegation on behalf of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon presented gifts to more than 60 orphans.
Participants emphasized that this charitable gesture reflects the country's leadership's ongoing focus on social support and care for the younger generation. It was noted that the Tajik government is consistently implementing measures to improve the quality of education and create conditions for children's spiritual and physical development, and that caring for youth remains a priority of state policy.
