The second CAFA Nations Cup tournament, held under the auspices of the Central Asian Football Association, has concluded, the FFT reports.
In the final match, which took place in Tashkent, the Uzbekistan team defeated the Iranian team 1:0 and became the winner of the tournament.
India and Oman faced off in the third-place game in Hisor. The match ended in a 1-1 draw in regulation time. Spectators saw no goals scored in extra time. India prevailed in the penalty shootout, winning 3-2.
Thus, following the results of the CAFA Nations Cup 2025 tournament, the Tajikistan national team was awarded the Fair Play prize.
It should be noted that at the group stage of the tournament, our team played in Group B, where they beat Afghanistan (2:0), drew with Iran (2:2), and lost to India (1:2).
