On September 11, during a working visit to the Baljuvon district, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon commissioned a new building for the State Committee for National Security (SCNS) of the Republic of Tajikistan.
According to the presidential press service, the facility was constructed as part of improvements commemorating the 35th anniversary of Tajikistan's state independence. Government representatives say the new building is a significant gift to security personnel.
To ensure comfortable living conditions for the institution's employees, nine residential buildings have been equipped with two-bedroom apartments, fully equipped with household appliances. During the ceremony, the head of state presented the employees with the keys to the new apartments.
Emomali Rahmon noted the importance of effectively utilizing the conditions provided and called on the State Committee for National Security employees to serve conscientiously for the benefit of the state and the people.
When landscaping the grounds, special attention was paid to creating a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing environment: lampposts were installed, ornamental and shade-forming trees, as well as flowers, were planted, giving the building's courtyard a special beauty.
The opening of the new State Committee for National Security (GKNB) building in the Baljuvan district demonstrates the country's leadership's commitment to strengthening the security agencies' infrastructure and improving the working and living conditions of their employees.
