In the village of Sarazm in the city of Penjikent, asphalt paving has begun on a 7.3-kilometer section of the Chilarcha-Bosndeh road. The work is being carried out with the participation of the mayor, Abdukholik Kholikzade, veterans, and activists from the village of Chilarcha, according to the press service of the Penjikent administration.
The project is being funded by contributions from residents of the villages of Chilarcha, Tomiris, Kohdoman, Osieteppa, Abdusamad, Balak, and Balakkamar, with support from local government agencies. The cost of the work is 3.5 million somoni.
The necessary machinery and equipment were deployed to complete the task as quickly as possible. The road surface was prepared in accordance with road construction requirements and is ready for asphalt paving.
The city mayor instructed responsible officials to strictly adhere to traffic regulations and building codes to ensure the new pavement lasts a long time.
The project aims to improve the region's transport infrastructure, enhance road safety, and provide comfortable travel for residents of the villages of Sarazm and Chilarcha, as well as neighboring settlements.
