Minister of Energy and Water Resources of the Republic of Tajikistan Daler Juma met with the head of the Swiss Cooperation Office in Tajikistan Denise Lüthi to discuss expanding bilateral cooperation in water resources management, the press service of the Ministry of Energy and Water Resources of the Republic of Tajikistan reported.
During the meeting, held on September 12 in Dushanbe, the parties exchanged views on the implementation of current projects and the potential for developing new initiatives aimed at strengthening the country's energy potential and ensuring sustainable water supply.
Denise Lüthi emphasized Switzerland's readiness to continue supporting existing projects and actively develop new cooperation programs. Minister Daler Juma noted the importance of such initiatives for improving water resource management and strengthening Tajikistan's energy security.
Following the talks, both sides expressed their intention to continue constructive dialogue and expand cooperation within the framework of sustainable development, emphasizing the strategic importance of bilateral partnership in the field of energy and water resources.
