The Central Asian Women's Dialogue Forum, titled "Women in the Green and Digital Economy," will be held in Sughd Region under the chairmanship of the Republic of Tajikistan. This was announced by the Committee for Women and Family Affairs under the Government of Tajikistan.
The forum will bring together representatives of women's organizations and activists from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan. Key topics will include women's empowerment in green economy development, entrepreneurship, climate leadership, sustainable agriculture, natural resource management, digitalization, and digital skills development in the region.
The forum's goal is to support women's initiatives in the fields of ecology, technology, and sustainable entrepreneurship, as well as to promote women's participation in economic transformation and interregional cooperation.
In preparation for the forum in Khujand, a cultural program was organized for participants. It aims to strengthen regional cooperation and promote women through art, traditions, and creativity as part of a dialogue among women in Central Asia.
The Forum is expected to become a platform for exchanging experiences, discussing best practices, and developing joint initiatives to increase women's participation in the region's economy and digital technologies.
