On Conscript's Day, the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region was the first to fulfill its plan for the autumn conscription of young men into the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan at 101%. This was reported by NIAT Khovar, citing the Executive Authority of State Authority of GBAO.
This morning, residents of Khorog, young and old, took to the central streets and avenues to organize a procession to see off young men of conscription age to the city's park of culture and recreation. A ceremonial gathering was held there, attended by city and district chairmen, heads of departments and institutions, law enforcement officers, conscripts, and their parents.
At the meeting, gratitude was expressed to all conscripts and their parents for their timely appearance at military commissariats and for fulfilling the autumn conscription plan for the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan in one day.
It was noted that service in the ranks of the National Army of Tajikistan demonstrates a deep understanding of civic responsibility and the sincere, ardent love of young people for their homeland.
For the eighth year in a row, valiant young men of draft age in Gorno-Badakhshan complete their military service on the very first day of the spring and autumn conscription and set out to faithfully serve their homeland.
