Conscript Day was held in Dushanbe to mark the start of the autumn conscription of young people into the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan. The event was attended by young men born between 1998 and 2007 from the Ismoili Somoni, Shohmansur, Sino, and Firdavsi districts, representatives of relevant agencies of the Dushanbe City Executive Authority, the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Tajikistan, and the parents of the conscripts, reports NIAT Khovar.
Deputy Mayor of Dushanbe Abdurakhmon Abdurakhmonzoda noted that this important campaign demonstrated a high level of patriotic initiative and love for the Fatherland, demonstrated by the entire society, including young people, which once again demonstrated the citizens' commitment to the policies pursued by Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon.
Those gathered expressed gratitude to the parents of young people who, at the behest of their hearts, are ready to serve in fulfilling their filial duty to the state and the people to defend the Motherland.
It was noted that serving the Motherland is the duty of every young person. The country's government annually takes targeted measures to create favorable conditions for soldiers and officers.
Thanks to the ongoing efforts of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, the necessary material and living conditions have been created for the daily lives of military personnel in military units. Experienced professional officers in all military units are actively working to improve the combat and physical fitness of young people, instilling in them a spirit of patriotism and devotion to the Motherland.
It was reported that young men who chose voluntary service in the Armed Forces today will be able to take advantage of government benefits, including obtaining a driver's license.
