Educational institutions in Bokhtar, the administrative center of the Khatlon region, are fully prepared for the 2025–2026 autumn-winter school season. The city's schools and kindergartens have purchased and stocked up on the required amount of coal, firewood, and diesel fuel.
According to Shoista Abdunazarzoda, head of the city's education department, 324 tons of coal, 310 cubic meters of firewood, and 409 liters of diesel fuel have been delivered to the city's educational institutions to date.
The head of the education department's information was confirmed by the principals of schools No. 2 and No. 10, as well as the heads of kindergartens No. 5 and No. 16. They noted that their institutions have fully fulfilled their fuel procurement and storage plans, including coal and firewood.
According to Shoista Abdunazarzoda, there are 25 schools and 19 educational institutions in the city of Bokhtar, where 32,570 students are studying and educating.
According to the approved plan, fuel use in classrooms is scheduled for October 15 of this year. Preparing institutions for the winter season includes not only providing fuel but also inspecting the condition of heating systems and ensuring student safety.
Thus, all schools and kindergartens in Bokhtar are ready for the start of the heating season, which will ensure comfortable conditions for the educational process and education of children during the cold season.
