Tajikistan's Foreign Minister, Sirojiddin Mukhriddin, met with Kakha Imnadze, Head of the UN Regional Centre for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan.
During the talks, the parties discussed a wide range of issues related to cooperation between Tajikistan and the Center, including joint efforts to strengthen regional security and stability.
Particular attention was paid to issues of combating modern threats and challenges, ensuring sustainable development of society, and strengthening cooperation between the Central Asian states in the water, energy, environmental, and climate sectors.
The parties expressed their readiness to further deepen cooperation within the framework of the Centre's mandate, which is aimed at promoting preventive diplomacy and facilitating dialogue between countries in the region.
