A gas cylinder explosion occurred in the capital of Tajikistan, injuring two people. The Committee for Emergency Situations and Civil Defense under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan reported this.
The incident occurred on October 21 at around 12:45 PM on Chortut-1 Street in Dushanbe. According to preliminary reports, a 45-liter gas cylinder was delivered by Dushanbe resident Bakhtiyor Boev to the yard of 71-year-old Firuza Kamolova.
The explosion injured two people, young men aged 23 and 24. They suffered burns of varying severity and were taken to a hospital, where they are receiving the necessary care.
Law enforcement officers and emergency response specialists are currently conducting an investigation and determining the circumstances of the incident, including possible violations of gas equipment operating rules.
