A new "Zarafshon" Service Center was opened in the village of Zarafshon in the Zafarabad District with the participation of Sughd Region Governor Rajab Akhmadzoda. The regional governor's press service reported this.
The facility was reportedly built with the assistance of businessman Zafar Avulov as part of construction and improvement work commemorating the 35th anniversary of Tajikistan's independence.
Following the opening of the Center, the regional governor, on behalf of the Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon, presented the orphans with holiday gifts and emphasized that the state and government always provide attention and care to orphans and those in need. It is noted that, with the support of government agencies, the necessary conditions are regularly created for their education and a dignified life.
During a conversation with residents of the village, the head of the region called on entrepreneurs to participate in improvements, the construction of social facilities, and the development of the village, as well as to show initiative in the implementation of construction and infrastructure projects.
During his working visit, Sughd Region Governor Rajab Akhmadzoda also inquired about the health of labor veterans Shodiboy Mavlonov and Odinaya Khodjimurodova and provided them with financial assistance.
The opening of the Zarafshon Service Center aims to create comfortable conditions for residents of the village and support socially vulnerable groups, including orphans and the elderly.
