On October 28, the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan, Matlubakhon Sattoriyon, and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Tajikistan, Guo Zhijun, discussed the possibility of holding the Days of Culture of the People's Republic of China in Tajikistan, the press center of the Ministry of Culture of Tajikistan reported .
During the meeting, the parties discussed various issues of cultural cooperation and new opportunities for strengthening bilateral relations between the countries.
Tajik Minister of Culture Matlubakhon Sattoriyon emphasized the importance of cultural and scientific cooperation between Tajikistan and China. She noted the Ministry of Culture's readiness to develop cooperation in the arts, theater, music, literature, and tourism, which, in her opinion, will have a positive impact not only on the two countries but also on the entire region.
For his part, Chinese Ambassador Guo Zhijun expressed the view that holding such events promotes the two countries' cultures and is a reliable tool for strengthening diplomatic and economic ties. He noted that, in cooperation with the Chinese Ministry of Culture, all necessary conditions will be created for organizing Chinese Culture Days in Tajikistan, which will enable residents of both countries to better understand and respect each other's cultures.
The parties agreed to continue work on preparing a program of events and considering opportunities to attract a wider audience to participate in cultural events.
