In the Republic of Tajikistan, two fatal road accidents have been recorded in recent days. As a result of the accidents that occurred in the Muminabad and Spitamen districts, two people died and another was hospitalized with injuries. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the country.
The first incident took place on July 27, 2025 at approximately 16:30. The driver of a Toyota Corolla, a resident of the city of Kulyab, 71-year-old Sattorov Amirkhon, while driving through the village of Bozi Paron in the Muminabad district, lost control, drove off the road, flew about 35 meters and crashed into a tree. As a result of the accident, the passenger of the vehicle, Saidov Safarali Valievich, born in 1981, a resident of the city of Dushanbe, died on the spot. The driver himself was taken to the hospital with injuries of varying severity.
The second road accident occurred on July 28, 2025 at approximately 09:45. On the Dushanbe-Khujand-Chanak highway, 24-year-old resident of the Spitamen district, Khaitboev Bakhrombek Dzhasurbekovich, while driving an Opel Astra, lost control and collided with a Mercedes-Benz driven by Mansurov Dzhurabek Dzhumaboevich, born in 1992, a resident of the Devashtich district. As a result of the collision, the driver of the Opel Astra died at the scene from his injuries.
The internal affairs bodies have started investigations into both road accidents. The causes and circumstances of the incident are being established.
