Law enforcement officers of the Republic of Tajikistan have solved two cases of theft committed in different regions of the country, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic reports.
Thus, a 20-year-old local resident filed a complaint with the OMVD #2 for the Shokhmansur district of Dushanbe. According to the applicant, on the night of July 25, 2025, at about 01:00, unknown persons entered his apartment and stole an iPhone 14 Pro Max mobile phone worth 14 thousand somoni. As a result of operational and investigative measures, a 16-year-old resident of the capital was detained on suspicion of committing the crime.
In addition, during operational activities, police officers detained two 23-year-old residents of the B. Gafurov district on suspicion of stealing cattle. According to available information, on July 21, 2025, at approximately 09:40, the suspects stole one head of cattle from the territory of the Ganji-Khilol farm, which belonged to a 67-year-old resident of the district. The amount of damage caused was 15 thousand somoni.
In both cases, criminal cases have been opened under Part 3 of Article 244 ("Theft") of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan. The investigation is ongoing.
