The Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan has opened two new educational programs: “Digital Economy” and “Security of Automated Information Systems in Management”. This was reported by the MIR 24 TV channel.
The new areas have been developed taking into account the current needs of the digital transformation of the country's public administration system. Training will be conducted at the bachelor's and master's levels. The goal of the innovation is to train qualified specialists capable of effectively implementing and supporting digital solutions in management structures.
As noted by the rector of the Academy Davron Safarzoda, in recent years the educational institution has significantly expanded the range of educational programs. "If earlier there were three specialties in the bachelor's degree, two in the second higher education, and three in the master's degree, today their number has increased to more than 15 at the bachelor's level, about 16 in the master's degree and six in the second higher education," he emphasized.
Currently, 5,092 students are studying at the academy. Classes are conducted in Tajik, Russian and English. 374 teachers are involved in the educational process. According to the results of the 2024-2025 academic year, 1,472 graduates received diplomas.
