Somon Air is resuming direct international flights to two popular destinations, the company’s press service reports.
Regular flights on the route "Dushanbe – Tehran – Dushanbe" will resume on July 14. Flights will be operated twice a week – on Mondays and Fridays, providing passengers with a convenient opportunity for business, tourist and cultural trips between Tajikistan and Iran. Departure time from Dushanbe on Mondays is 09:10, in the opposite direction – 11:00 local time. On Fridays – departure time from Dushanbe is 11:00, from Tehran – 13:50.
From July 20, the airline will also resume flights on the route "Dushanbe – Jeddah – Dushanbe". Flights will be carried out once a week in July (on Sundays) with a further increase in flight frequency (on Fridays and Sundays). Departure time from Dushanbe is 23:00, from Jeddah – 04:00.
"We are pleased to reopen these destinations and provide our passengers with more opportunities for comfortable international flights. We are confident that the restoration of these routes will contribute to strengthening economic and cultural ties between the countries," said Abdulkosim Valiev, General Director of Somon Air.
Tickets for the flights are already available on the airline's official website www.somonair.com, as well as at ticket agencies.
Somon Air has been successfully operating on the international market since 2008 and is a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA). The Somon Air fleet consists of Boeing 737-800 and Boeing 737-900 aircraft. The company is focused on expanding its route network and fleet, and currently operates regular flights from Tajikistan to Germany, the UAE, Turkey, China, Saudi Arabia, Iran, India, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.
