The Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Republic of Belarus has issued an official warning informing citizens of possible restrictions on entry to Belarus for those who were previously deported or banned from entering the Russian Federation. This was reported on the official page of the diplomatic mission.
“As part of the interaction and exchange of information between the competent authorities of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation, decisions taken by the Russian authorities with respect to individuals, including those related to entry bans or expulsion, may also be used by the Belarusian side,” the embassy said in a statement.
In this regard, citizens of Tajikistan who have previously encountered similar restrictions in Russia are advised to check in advance for possible restrictions on entry to Belarus before planning a trip to the country.
