On June 30, two fatal road accidents were recorded in Tajikistan, resulting in the deaths of four people. This was reported by the press center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic.
At about 02:20 am on the highway in Kulyab, the 18-year-old driver of the BMW-318, Abdulfatoh Saidov, a resident of the city of Kulyab, driving along I. Somoni Avenue towards Borbad Street, violated traffic rules and, having driven onto the 1st Maya highway, crashed into a metal fence on the right side of the road. As a result of the serious injuries he received, he died at the scene of the accident.
The second accident occurred at about 12:00 on the same day in the village of Sarakishti in the Rudaki district. 61-year-old Dushanbe resident Mansurkhon Sultonov, driving an Opel Astra, was traveling with two passengers – Abdusattor Asoyev (born in 1975) and Sayumron Khoshimov (born in 1985), residents of the Rasht district. According to preliminary data, the driver lost control, drove into the oncoming lane and collided with a Mercedes Benz ML-350 belonging to Khusrav Muhammadjon.
As a result of the violent collision, the driver and both passengers of the Opel Astra died at the scene from their injuries.
Criminal cases have been opened on both facts, and investigative bodies are conducting an investigation to establish all the circumstances of the incidents.
An investigation is underway into the facts of the accident.
