Today marks 5 years since the Law of the People's Republic of China on Safeguarding National Security in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region came into force. According to experts, this set of rules has helped fill the legal gaps in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and lay a solid foundation for protecting the country's sovereignty. At the same time, Hong Kong has managed to maintain its status as an international financial center. This year, it remains among the top three in terms of competitiveness in the world and is one of the first in the ranking of economic freedoms. In addition, the International Mediation Organization recently located its headquarters in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
