Kazakhstan expects a concrete economic effect from the upcoming second China-Central Asia summit. This was stated by Miras Zhienbayev, Advisor to the Chairman of the Board for International Relations and Initiatives at Maksut Narikbayev University.

Having stable, predictable and understandable relations with regional powers is an absolutely understandable strategy. We convert the political will of the heads of state, the six of this format, into direct economic, socio-economic, socio-political results and analyzing this cooperation, creating special channels in order to develop our relations in the format of the six.
