The Days of Culture of Tajikistan in Russia, which are taking place on June 2 and 4 in Moscow and Kazan, will be another step towards expanding relations between Moscow and Dushanbe. This was stated by the Minister of Culture of the Republic Matlubakhon Sattoriyon at the grand opening of the Days of Culture on the new stage of the Bolshoi Theater, TASS reports.
"We hope that the Days of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Russian Federation will become another practical step, another important milestone in expanding and deepening our traditional relations and enriching the spiritual world of our contemporaries," she said.
The official start of the Days of Culture of Tajikistan in Moscow and Kazan on the new stage of the Bolshoi Theater was given by the Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Olga Lyubimova. "Today we are giving the start to a bright program, which includes exhibitions and concerts of outstanding masters in two cities: Moscow and Kazan. The scale of the Days of Culture is constantly expanding, which fully corresponds to the level of relations between our countries," she said.
Folk songs and works by Tajik composers were performed on the stage of the Bolshoi Theatre. The gala concert "Bulletin of Friendship" program, accompanied by the State Symphony Orchestra of Tajikistan, featured folk performers and groups of the country: the State Dance Ensemble "Zebo", the dance ensembles "Gulrez" and "Jakhonoro", soloists of the ensemble "Daryo", winner of the Grand Prix of the international competition "Five Stars. Intervision" Takhmina Niyazova, soloist of the Tajik Academic Theater named after S. Aini Sharofat Usmanova and others.
The Minister of Culture of Tajikistan thanked the Russian government and the leadership of the Ministry of Culture. "Holding the Days of Culture is a great holiday that increases the cultural heritage of our peoples. They contribute to the integration processes between our countries. Let me once again express our gratitude for the opportunity to introduce the noble Russian people to the culture of Tajikistan," she added.
Exhibitions of folk crafts are also presented as part of the Days of Culture of Tajikistan in Moscow and Kazan, among the exhibits: more than 30 paintings by famous Tajik artists, porcelain plates and ceramic boxes with hand painting, souvenir knives, Florentine mosaics and other art objects.
