On June 3, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and the Chairman of the Majlisi Milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Chairman of the City of Dushanbe Rustami Emomali got acquainted with the construction work at the National Teahouse on Hafiz Sherozi Avenue in the Sino district of the capital, the press service of the head of state reported.
It was reported that construction of the facility on this site began in 2024 and is scheduled to be completed in September 2026.





To date, 80 percent of the work has been completed, including the construction of the main building and the laying of reinforced concrete structures on the top of the structure.
The head of state first visited the main hall of the building, which, according to the project, will be decorated with national forms and elements.
According to the information, the three-story teahouse will consist of open and spacious halls decorated with stucco and carving, as well as a modern open terrace and 5 other halls for receiving special guests.
Currently, with the involvement of professional and experienced domestic craftsmen, plastering work has begun in the first hall, which must be completed using high-quality building materials.
In another part of the site, about 300 workers, most of them local residents, are carrying out various construction tasks.
Once the facility is commissioned, the teahouse will provide jobs for more than 150 local residents.
In general, the facade, roof, walls and halls of the new cultural and community complex are designed taking into account high architectural art and national motifs, and in the future, conditions will be created here to receive 5,000 visitors per day.
