On May 14, a scientific and literary forum was held at the National Museum of Tajikistan in cooperation with the Writers' Union of Tajikistan in honor of the 115th anniversary of the People's Poet of Tajikistan Boki Rahimzoda, NIAT Khovar reports.
The forum participants spoke about the poet's life and work. It was noted that the poems of the poet Boki Rahimzoda were full of love for the Motherland, glorified friendship and humanism, and remain in people's hearts to this day. The poet's first collection of poems was published in 1945 under the title "To the Front".


Later, his books "Victory Holiday" (1946), "Fiery Years" (1948), "Green Leaf", "Life and Word" (1955), "Spring" (1957), the story "The Path of Sunlight" (together with Mirzo Tursunzade, 1964), "The Path Traveled" (selected, 1966), "Inspiration" (1973), the two-volume "Heritage" (1975-1976), "Flower Branch" (in Persian, 1979), the two-volume "Composition" (1982-1983), "Poems and Poems" and others were published. The book "The Adventures of Soka" (1973) testifies to the high satirical skill of the ustod.
Boki Rahimzoda was highly respected by the people. People's poet of Tajikistan Boki Rahimzoda was awarded many government medals and certificates. He was a laureate of the State Prize named after Abuabdullo Rudaki (1967), has the honorary title of People's Poet of Tajikistan (1974), was awarded two Orders of the Red Banner of Labor, two Orders of the Badge of Honor, medals, and the Certificate of Honor of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Tajik SSR.
