A delegation of entrepreneurs from Saudi Arabia will pay an official visit to Tajikistan on May 19-20 to hold a series of events aimed at developing bilateral trade, economic and investment cooperation. This was reported on Tuesday by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Negotiations on preparations for the upcoming visit took place on May 13 in Dushanbe. The meeting was attended by the leadership of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tajikistan and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Tajikistan Walid ibn Abdulrahman Al-Reshaidon.
As reported by the Chamber, the visit will include trade and economic events, business forums and B2B meetings aimed at enhancing cooperation in the areas of trade, investment, industry and other promising sectors.

"Saudi Arabia is one of Tajikistan's most important partners in the Arab world. Holding such meetings creates additional opportunities for establishing direct contacts between the business circles of the two countries and implementing joint projects," the chamber noted.
In addition, the parties exchanged views on the participation of Tajik and Saudi companies in conferences, exhibitions and other business events taking place in both countries.
The Chamber emphasized that the upcoming visit will be an important step in strengthening bilateral economic ties and will serve to develop a long-term partnership.
