An investment agreement worth $83.2 million has been signed in Tajikistan to create a textile cluster, according to the State Committee on Investments and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The project envisages the creation of a complete production cycle—from cotton processing to the production of finished garments. Implementation of this initiative will create a modern production chain encompassing all key stages of textile manufacturing.

According to the State Committee, the project is expected to create over 5,500 new jobs. Implementation of the investment agreement is expected to significantly contribute to the development of Tajikistan's light industry and strengthen the country's export potential.
