As part of the festival program, participants will showcase their skills in three areas: folk instruments, wind instruments, and arts and crafts.
Preparations for the Games were discussed in Dushanbe.
In June 2026, a meeting was held in Dushanbe between the Minister of Culture of Tajikistan, Matlubakhon Sattoriyon, and the Director of the International Delphic Committee, Vladimir Ponyavin.
The main topic of the talks was key issues related to the preparation and holding of the 20th Anniversary Youth Delphic Games of the CIS Member States, which will take place in October 2026 in the capital of Tajikistan.
Matlubakhon Sattoriyon stated that regular meetings dedicated to the development of the Delphic movement in the CIS region have become a solid foundation for further cooperation.
"Our regular meetings aimed at developing the Delphic Movement within the Commonwealth have become a solid foundation for further cooperation. We intend to maximize the potential for international cooperation generated by the recent international events held in Dushanbe and organize the anniversary Games at the highest state level. Our main goal is to celebrate professionalism and excellence," stated the Minister of Culture of Tajikistan.
Vladimir Ponyavin, Director of the International Delphic Committee, in turn, expressed gratitude to the leadership of Tajikistan for the warm welcome and strategic approach to the project's development.
"We express our deep gratitude to the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, for the high level of state support and comprehensive assistance in the development of the Delphic Movement. Dushanbe is hosting the Games for the second time and demonstrates its full readiness to serve as an international venue for large-scale events. The creative initiatives of the Tajik side to improve the programs create a solid foundation for these Games to open a new, vibrant chapter in the history of cultural cooperation among the CIS countries," noted Vladimir Ponyavin.
During the meeting, the parties discussed in detail the action plan for preparing the infrastructure, logistics system, and volunteer corps. Implementation of the planned tasks will begin after the official approval of the Games Regulations.
The talks confirmed Dushanbe's role as one of the cultural centers of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
The hosting of the 20th Youth Delphic Games should serve as further evidence of Tajikistan's readiness to ensure a high level of organizational excellence in the implementation of major international projects.
