Construction of a 250 MW solar power plant in Tajikistan's Asht district is approximately 70% complete. The project is scheduled for completion and full operation by the end of 2026.
On July 9, Tajikistan's Minister of Energy and Water Resources, Daler Juma, inspected the construction progress of the facility. This was reported by the Ministry of Energy and Water Resources' press service.

During a visit to the station, it was noted that approximately 70% of construction work has been completed. Equipment installation and preparation of the necessary infrastructure are ongoing. Work is proceeding according to the approved plan.
According to the established schedule, the solar power plant is planned to be fully commissioned by the end of this year.

Following his review of the project's progress, Daler Juma gave specific instructions to those responsible. These included ensuring high quality work, compliance with technical requirements, and completing construction on time.
As was emphasized during the site visit, the commissioning of the solar power plant will increase the volume of electricity production from renewable sources.

The project is also expected to make a significant contribution to achieving Tajikistan's strategic goals in the field of green energy and strengthening the country's energy security.
