In Tajikistan, a number of new projects in the field of telecommunications and digital infrastructure are being implemented within the framework of public-private partnerships.
One of them is the creation of a centralized SMS hub—a unified system for sending and receiving SMS messages.
As noted by the Communications Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the project is of strategic importance for the industry.
The creation of an SMS hub will allow the government and telecom operators to centrally manage SMS message flows, improve security, strengthen quality control, and ensure message routing transparency.
In addition, an electronic database of mobile numbers is being created in the country.
The new platform will be an automated system for monitoring and recording mobile numbers.
Another project is “Development of the postal system of Tajikistan: e-commerce and postal items.”
The project includes the digitalization and modernization of postal infrastructure, as well as the automation of cargo processing and delivery processes.
