On June 16, 2026, the second meeting of senior officials in preparation for the first Central Asia–Republic of Korea Summit took place in Tashkent. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan.
A delegation from the Republic of Tajikistan, headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Idibek Kalandar, took part in the event.
During the meeting, representatives of the countries exchanged views on various organizational and substantive issues related to the preparation and holding of the first Central Asia–Republic of Korea Heads of State Summit.
As noted, the discussion took place in a constructive atmosphere and was aimed at further coordinating work in preparation for the upcoming summit.
The meeting participants discussed issues related to the organization of the event and its substantive content. The discussion took place as part of preparations for the first Central Asia–Republic of Korea Heads of State Summit.
