On June 15–16, 2026, the annual meeting of the Green Action Working Group of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) was held in Paris, the Committee on Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan reported .
At the event, participants examined a wide range of issues related to the development of a green economy, the implementation of environmental policy, and adaptation to climate change. They also discussed the efficient use of natural resources, attracting investment in green projects, and strengthening international cooperation in environmental protection.


The meeting served as a platform for exchanging experiences between participating countries, international organizations, and industry experts. Participants discussed achievements and practical experiences in developing a green economy, environmental management, and mitigating the negative impacts of climate change.
In addition, the meeting contributed to the development of new proposals and the identification of promising areas of cooperation in the field of sustainable development.
Tajikistan was represented at the meeting by Loik Rahmonzoda, Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Environmental Protection. In his speech, he emphasized the country's interest in actively participating in the further analytical work of the OECD and the Working Group on Environmental Financing.
According to him, Tajikistan intends to continue cooperation with international partners on issues of green economy development, environmental protection, and sustainable development.
