A delegation from the Republic of Tajikistan, led by First Deputy Prime Minister Khokim Khikmatullo Kholikzoda and Minister of Economic Development and Trade, head of the Islamic Development Corporation delegation from Tajikistan Abdurahmonzoda Abdurahmon Safarali, held a meeting with the President of the Islamic Development Corporation Group, Dr. Muhammad Suleiman Al-Jasser.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, the meeting took place on June 16, 2026, in Baku, Republic of Azerbaijan.



During the talks, the parties reviewed the implementation of the country's Four-Year Cooperation Plan for 2023–2026. Furthermore, the meeting participants discussed the advancement of priority infrastructure projects and strengthening regional connectivity.
Following the meeting, the Tajik side and the leadership of the Islamic Development Corporation confirmed their readiness to further strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation, promote sustainable development, and effectively implement joint projects.
